I have been to many churchs in my life; every size shape and color. Some carrying tradtions since the 1800's, some doing some new things. I have visited with many people about their church and even studied many of the denominational movements throughout history.
My question is, why do so many people not feel welcome in the vast array of churches that are in existence in this country?
I am not entirely sure why, but in several places I have been, there has been little effort to make outsiders feel welcome or wanted. I remember one man who was known to struggle with drugs that attended for a while. Then I heard one of the leaders of the church warning people to be clear of this man.
Luke 19:10 tells us that the "Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost."
Are people struggling with sin, people addicted and those with every other issue not who Christ was after?
I hope everyone that partners with H2O understands these people are our greatest priority and we will welcome them with open arms.
