This Sunday, (11-22) at 10am will be LIFE180Church's first experience time in our new church building! What an adventure God has been leading us on! Thank you to all the volunteers who have donated time to help get this place going. Barry Worcester (H20 Lead Pastor) and Doug Lauxman (H20 Eldorado Campus Pastor) came and completed the truss work for the screen and helped set up sound and lighting! I think they worked till almost 6am this morning!! Thank you guys! Al Guy has spent several days also of volunteer time to get nine new circuits ran into the experience room and other areas! Many from the core group have also spent countless hours of work and in prayer over the future of LIFE180Church! Thank you all!
... here is the crux though...
This church should never become just a building! LIFE180Church started several months ago with a vision of reaching the lost 20-30 somethings of this city and county. Yes, our focus has been on getting an established location, but is is just a sheep shed after all! Reaching the lost by doing anything short of sin is the goal! I pray that we remain focused on the long-range plan and keep our eyes fixed on Him! The building in so many ways is just like us! Some rooms are looking great now, some are still in need of repair! Lord help us remain on this journey of transformation and continue cleaning us up! He runs new wiring for us and helps us become electrified for His good! He scrubbs our floors and paints our walls one room at a time and transforms us into something new!
Join us this Sunday in our "work in progress" and God is sure to help each of us with our own "life-ling building projects" as well!
