MANEUR STORMS??

posted by admin at  0:00 || under General

Donna Cruz from WayFM posed this question on her facebook yesterday..."If God is close to the broken hearted, how close are we?" I know that so many times I have been and am broken hearted because I tend to "busy" myself to death. I'm a teacher, football coach, pastor, father, and husband. These are all good things, but when "good" things get between me and God, I miss out on the truely "great things". These great things are being able to serve others who are in the midst of brokenness themselves. God allows "fertilizer" to be applied as needed in our lives. None of us care to go through a "fertilizer storm" but these processes help us become productive soil so we can grow and establish deeper roots in Him and He can use us to witness and mentor to others about what He has and is doing in our lives! If you are in a "storm" right now, know that things will get better and there are other people who would love to help! ~Fahring
