I think sometimes that I am totally losing it! Things seem to be going so great ... I mean REALLY great! Then, out of the blue, something happens or the wrong thought crosses my mind and there I am sacked and looking at 4th and 30!! You ever wonder where the that term "Throw a hail Mary" comes from?
It is when we are totally at the end of our rope with no hope that all we can do is look up! I know there are tens of people who read this (probably not even that many), but if you are by chance the one person that is at the end of your rope, please know that you are not alone! Christ is there to pick you up and pull you back to where you belong! He never leaves us nor forsakes us and He is good!
Fire destroyed much of one block in downtown Anthony Ks. this summer. The front of the buildings remain intact, but it is just that ... a front! The rest of the buildings were destroyed. How often do we try to put up a strong front when on the inside we are completely ruined? We tell ourselves that we can't let people know that we are really hurting and screwed up, and so we bottle it up inside and drive a wedge even farther between who we think we need to be and who we could become.
If you don't even know who the real you is anymore, take some time and ask God.
